By grounding our dreams daily in seeds of intention, we will begin to manifest our dream of today which evolves our dream of tomorrow. Identifying the goal with clear vision and outlining the steps necessary to accomplish this goal will help us find a grounded place to establish our intent in the present. Knowing what we want to accomplish today, will nurture the seeds of growth for tomorrow.

There are pre-existing forces in the mind that may contradict our goals, producing vacillation and confusion, which inhibit us from actualizing our dreams. These forces may appear as judgment, fear, attachment, or self-worth, and can be obstacles to clarity and peace of mind. Clear vision is necessary to establish our goals. We must recognize the forces of the mind, identify the goal, and form an intention for today. When you act according to this intention you become well-attuned to your dreams and plant seeds for future growth.

In Hatha yoga, as we ground and stabilize the body, we support the grounding and stabilizing of the mind. Together, these form a foundation for actualization. To see the mind, is to know the mind. To overcome the pre-existing forces in the mind is to be free of obstacles. When we are free we can see and act with clarity and vision.

In presence, taking action in accordance with our dreams, we become the dream. Don’t fear, be the dream and become the living dream.

“Our worst fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our Light, not our darkness that most frighten’s us. We ask ourselves, “Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented and fabulous?” Actually, who are you not to be. You are a child of God; your playing small doesn’t serve the world. There is nothing enlightening about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you. We were born to make manifest the glory of God/the Divine within us. It is not in just some of us. It is in everyone and as we let our own light shine we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear our presence automatically liberates others.”  Marianne Williams

Daily Reflections

Ask yourself. . .

What is my intention for the day?

How wilI I focus my mind toward this intention today?

How will I ground my intention with action?
