Today’s lunation will inevitably light up the screen of our imagination and heighten the realm of dreams. It is a highly romantic weekend with Neptune, the ruling planet of Pisces, conjunct the moon. Neptune can either dissolve or spiritualize whatever it touches, meaning, we may feel either deeply connected or sense of melancholy and separation. Whatever extreme being felt in the dynamic between Virgo and Pisces there is a longing for communion – as we strive for that all time Spiritual High.
Pisces can also cause tidal waves of emotions which may currently be as wild as the wind. It is wise to remember that our emotional life is rich with wisdom and can provide a depth of understanding into our soul essence and spiritual drive. The dreamy nature of the moon in Pisces conjunct Neptune can have an addictive affect; alluring us into false truths and denial of what is. If we opt for full acceptance, choosing to see “reality” as it is rather than as we wish it to be, we will harmonize the Virgo influence of practicality and deep devotion to something larger than ourselves.
Feeling everything can be both good and challenging, so please take time to just be sensative and feel. Connect with nature, experience the beauty around you, listen to music, dance freely, take a bath, float in the ocean or simply take space to dream and vision…it is a wonderful time to understand and plan how we can bring our dreams into creation.
Kala purusha, a vedic term for cosmic man, is our natural state of being as spirit moving through time and this lunation is reminding us to live naturally – spiritually. Living spiritually is understanding what forms our deepest beliefs and devotions and living true to them. The harmony of matter (prakriti) and spirit (purusha) is the ultimate goal of being human – merging that which appears to be dual.
Pisces is an expression of our ability to surrender into spirit and Virgo is our abiltiy to materialize through devoted service. With the Sun conjunct Jupiter in Virgo our expanded expression of devotion is ready to rise. A devoted heart is a directed heart. As we commit to that which calls our heart to devotion we live true. Living true is living in harmony, in union.
Ask yourself: What am I devoted to? And, am I living true to that devotion?
