I've been to hell
burning is the ritual
fire takes no pity
on the unessential
swept up
in a gust of spiraling wind
essence commands this
a constant purge
becoming transparent
until there is nothing
nothing but One
at peace
with abiding awareness
death takes nothing
from a consummated soul
