“One is never afraid of the unknown; one is afraid of the known coming to an end.” ― Jiddu Krishnamurti

NEW MOON in SAGITTARIUS: Nov 29, 2016 @ 7:17am EST at 7 degrees

Jiddu Krishnamurti comes to mind as I consider the energies of this lunation. Krishnamurti was a revolutionary and his signature teaching/discussion method was to begin with a question. The word question comes from Latin, meaning to seek. Sagittarians are the ultimate truth seeker and tend to question everything. This lunation is stirring those big questions which are already seeded with answers.

Krishnamurti belonged to no religious organization, sect or country, nor did he subscribe to any school of political or ideological thought. On the contrary, he maintained that these are the very factors that divide human beings and bring about conflict and war. He reminded his listeners again and again that we are all human beings first and not Hindus, Muslims or Christians, that we are like the rest of humanity and are not different from one another. The full library of his teachings is right here.

We are in a time of question. Questioning the very fabric of our lives, what is real and not real, what is certain and uncertain. And, if indeed it is true that within every great questions lies the answer, then we seek inwardly to remember.

Krishnamurti’s natal moon was in Sagittarius. He, like most Sagittarians, was a truth seeker, visionary, adventurer, optimist, and an intellectual with a philosophical flare. Sagittarians are our professionals, educators, spiritual teachers, and often hold an expanded world view with an aspiration for freedom. Today’s New Moon in Sagittarius highlights these innate qualities in each of us and our primal urge to live true no matter how radical it might seem. As a collective, we are on the brink of mass revelation; each of us becoming more self-realized – releasing, exposing, and integrating whatsoever is necessary to evolve to our highest and our best.

The Moon/Sun are square the Moon’s Nodes which links to our destiny as it relates to our past and future selves. We may feel conflict with how we once believed or viewed our lives to be and where we see ourselves heading. The polarity between the South Node in Pisces the sign of dreams, imagination, romance, fantasy and the North Node in Virgo the sign of practicality, order, function, facts, embodyment, reality is heightened more than ever.

Neptune is conjunct the South Node bringing with it a great deal of uncertainty, mistrust, and self-doubt, drawing us back to our comfort zone and a grasping for that which is familiar. Neptune is sextile Venus in Capricorn which can create positive leverage in matters of the heart and help us to build stronger bridges between self and others. Sagittarians rarely look back…they are always looking ahead ready to venture forth into the unknown taking with them the net wisdom of the past.

Jupiter, the ruling planet of this lunation, is in the sign of Libra and the urge here is to expand the realm of relationship, justice, and equality. Currently, Jupiter is forming a square to Pluto in Capricorn and a sextile to Saturn in Sagittarius. Jupiter is aligned with reform and the transformation necessary for this transition. Sagittarius is a fire sign with a momentous need to proceed, but Saturn brings a delay in the domain of the archer striving to anchor or irriadicate a core belief. We are not likely to know the total ramification of our current choices and actions until later on.

Each of us is experiencing the sensation of going out on a limb and living. Discovering what truly inspires us and preparing to embark on the journey of our lives in a more connected, meaningful, and honest way. Take a look at what is pulling you back and what is propelling you forward. How aligned are you? Sagittarians are always looking ahead…forward thinking….free from the known.

The shadows of humanity, our nation, and our inner selves have recently been revealed since the New Moon in Scorpio and whatever shadows we’ve been dancing with are becoming the very allies we seek to support our process. It’s a time of great transformation and healing – as we become united with the darkness, the womb of the divine feminine, ourselves, and each other. T.S. Elliot wrote, “We shall not cease from exploration/ And the end of all our exploring/ Will be to arrive where we started /And know the place for the first time.”

Always remember that which you seek is seeking you. Seek out that which brings you fulfillment, bliss, and peace.
